Is the Election Madness Over?
It is finally over and the nation is eagerly awaiting the results. Many people are on the edge of their seat glued to Primetime television. Well what else is there to do when the new episode of House has been pushed to next week, while all the major networks follow the outcome of this monumental election? I decided to do some casual searching on the web. First stop, Facebook, and what do you know? The top of my home page there is a link that asks whether or not I have already voted. I honestly thought that the madness would have ended by now. It was time to just sit back and wait right?...Wrong! I start going from site to site and its everywhere....election, Election, ELECTION. vote, Vote, VOTE! I started getting flashbacks of my adventures out on the road today. It seemed that at every corner was a sign for a candidate or a person holding up a sign for their favorite candidate. My most recent stop was YouTube, to see what the world decided to post today. Video after video of "video your vote". Now this video is the one that caught my eye
"Why Would Anyone Want to Stop You From Voting?"

Well in response to this video, I would have to say that my visit to the polls was quite smooth. No long lines or retinal scans to prove I was the one registered to vote. But as soon as I exit the booth, the storm was starting to brew. Each booth had lines that were not there 2 minutes prior. I beat the madness!!! I don't know what issue will be this years Florida recount of 2000 or Ohio of 2004, but I guess I'll stay tuned to the broadcast like everyone else to find out.

Shedding Light on the Blogging scene

OK, well there is nothing like staying up late to study, do some research, watch a late night movie, or even try to satisfy (or shall I say ignore) that late night hunger. Now lets add another one to the list of things to do into the wee hours of the night...Blogging. Yeah I said it, blogging! Something I would have never caught myself doing as little as 1 week ago. I was satisfied with Facebook and that was it. Never really even checked that to much. But, after realizing the amount of time I spend glued to various news, technology, and sports blogs on my Blackberry, I have decided to take a leap of faith and see what Light I could shed in the Blogging World. Never thought of it until now, but I guess like the moon in the picture I am embarking on a journey to spread my light in a place that is dark to me. So we will see...
